It was just a fews days ago when @stroughtonsmith got Siri working on the iPhone 4 without the communication with the Apple servers. Initially, the port was laggy because a GPU driver was missing but then he managed to get it working pretty smoothly. We’ve had a couple of video demos of his iPhone 4 running Siri. Later on, he however gave up his work with Siri and is hardly working on it any more. He has apparently given out his progress to another developer called @jackoplane who too has Siri on iPhone 4 now. Even jack has not much stuff working but he has gone a little forward by managing to get Siri working on the iPad 1
