Facebook Officially moves to Microsoft Visual Studio Code for internal development

Facebook has collaborated with Microsoft to further improve the latter’s Visual Studio Code’s remote development extensions to allow remote development at scale with the editor.
Microsoft improved the Visual Studio Code’s remote development experience by using Facebook’s feedback and input, allowing the social media giant to start out its own custom solution.
Visual Studio Code runs on macOS, Windows, and Linux, and has a robust and well-defined extension API that enables Facebook to continue building the important capabilities required for the large-scale development that is done at the company.
Facebook engineers have installed the development tool on their laptops and most of the development is done directly on individually reserved development servers that live within the company centers.
Having the support of a company as big as Facebook supporting Visual Studio Code should be good news for Microsoft and developers using the tool. If you're interested in it, you can download it from here for your platform of choice.
