Tutorial to install Ubuntu in PC:

Everyday we are in search of new and latest things. Similarly, it is also applied in operating system too. You may be tired of using windows on your PC or you are in search of latest and new operating systems so here I am going to tell you how to install Ubuntu for your PC and feel the latest operating systems. To install the Ubuntu is not such a difficult task but if you do not get any guide than you may feel it much more hardest things. So how to install Ubuntu in your PC let’s have look. Here I am writing four installation guide of Ubuntu.


  1. Install from CD
  2. Install with the Wubi
  3. Install in EXT3 partitions and last
  4. Install from the USB.


So these are the four installation of Ubuntu which is easy.
So friend if you are trying to install the Ubuntu latest version from the CD than you can do this easily.

How to install the Ubuntu from the CD

In order to install the Ubuntu IOS than you must download it first so get this link to download latest version of Ubuntu http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download and save to your desktop.
Here the second step it burn the ISO image to blank CD by using the Roxio CD creator or some CD creator or similar to that.

Than run CD from My computer CD should ask the permission to run at which the point you will this option in screen
 

How to install Ubuntu with the Wubi
If you are interested to install the Ubuntu with wubi than select the “install inside windows” & follow the f ollowing instructions. This method for installing the Ubuntu is an ideal for the first taste of the Ubuntu as you can remove from the control panel add or remove programs later. This is one of the easy process of installation but you do not use to get the same performances as if the Ubuntu had separate partitions running in it’s EXT3 files systems. So followings are the Wubi installation process for Ubuntu.

Here if you have space on your hard drive than go for 30GB or more than that for installation size.
Now the next step is configuring your installation by using simple setting option. Here you also can specify the location of Ubuntu installations on you windows partitions, size of Ubuntu installations, Ubuntu flavors (like Kubuntu, Ubuntu Xbuntu etc.), select the language and the user name and password for your Ubuntu System.
After clicking the install button then you will screen like this.



After the file finished downloading you will have this screen as below



Now click on roboot now and select the Ubuntu on start up screen than after you will have fully functional dual boot windows/ Ubuntu machines.

How to install Ubuntu on single EXT3 partitions

Here what you have to do is click on Demo and the full installations than your computer will restart and boot into the Ubuntu.
This is the installation of Ubuntu through the entire separate drive partition and here you must be sure that you have enough space on your PC hard drive for the accommodation of new setup. It is found that partition which have less than 4GB space will crash your Ubuntu installation.

How to install Ubuntu on USB drive from the windows vista

First of all you need to format the USB with the FAT32 partition from the window. And follow the following image information for settings. Be sure that you need at least 2GB USB stick.


Now download UnetBootin. This Unetbootin use to allow installations of different kinds of Linux/Ubuntu distributions to the partition or the USB drives this not different from the standard installation only it does not need the CD. This application is “portable” applications which you don’t need to install into your window; this mean the UNetbootin will run your window pc without admin privilege.



It is found that the latest version of the Ubuntu is not in distribution list supplied with the Unetbootin, therefore downloaded the Ubuntu ISO from the earlier. Add ISO using “Diskimage” and be sure that your USB drive is selected below and click on OK.
ISO will transfer the USB quickly and after clicking on OK button you will see the following screen.



After completing the installation process restarts your computer and be sure that it is set up to boot from the USB. Here in the HP Laptops if your press F9 key shows the boot order menu. Selecting the “USB hard drive” follow the black screen, Ubunto logo and you will see the new Ubuntu desktop.

Finishing Ubuntu installation

It is very easy to install the Ubuntu with the very less effort. And if you are interested to remanaged the partition of your hard drive than restart your computer and follow the following steps
Click on Install button on desktop at the top left.




Select the language
 
Select your location

Choose the keyboard layout

Than set up the disk partition. Here this is the technical part of installation. Here I didn’t formatted new partition that means “use the largest continuous free spaces” options work nicely
 




Select your user name and password

Migrate your window document and settings

Here now you are ready to install yours new Ubuntu Installations

After finishing the installation restart your computer remove the CD or USB drive as per the instruction of computer. Now you are ready to use your Ubuntu
